Rosette Nebula 2020

Well what a year this has turned out to be with Covid 19 effecting all our lives and turning the world upside down but the universe continues to amaze me and keep me in awe of its night time wonders. So here is my latest image of the Rosette Nebula taken a couple of night ago on a nice dark night. This is a total of 20 stacked images each one was only 40 sec long ISO 1600. I had to chuck out a lot of subs as the stars were too wonky due to my crappy polar alignment. Next time I will try drift alignment and tell you all about that but for now it got me quite a reasonable image in the end stacked with 20 dark flats and bias. I have done this target many times now but its great to go back and do it all again.
