Trying out Ha filter for the first time

I got hold of an Ha filter to try out, an Astronomik Ha 6nm filter

Managed to get out last night and take only 4 ten minute subs of the Crescent Nebula in Cygnus at an Iso of 1600 with a modded canon 1000d.

Got to say I was amazed at how much detail it brings out was never expecting that from my dslr camera. And of course now the clouds have come back but its a start..
