M13 and the Propeller
This is not an easy one to capture but with some effort I managed to get an image of the great globular cluster M13 in Hercules showing the propeller.
Its quite hard to spot if you have not seen it before so here is a close up showing its position in red.
The image was taken with my skywatcher 200p and my canon 350D camera. I took a total of 100 shots at an ISO of 1600 and they were all 45 seconds long. I then stacked these in deep sky stacker with 50 darks flats and bias shots and finished the processing in Photoshop.
