I have been itching to have go at the Rosette Nebula for weeks and last night got my chance with lovely clear skies after a spell of rain. This is 33 60second exposures at an ISO of 800 using an unmodified Canon 350D camera. I also took 10 darks and 10 light at 3 minutes each to stack them with. Very pleased with the final result after stacking in deep sky stacker and finishing in Photoshop.
Next on my list last night was the Horse head again but this time with my guided setup I was able to do 19 3minute shots at ISO of 800 which gave me more detail this time. Rather like this one in Black and White.
